Opposites attract in Windstruck, the successful 2004 romantic comedy/drama from writer/director Kwak Jae Yong, the man behind the 2001 box office mega hit My Sassy Girl! Jang Hyuck, star of such films as Volcano High and Please Teach Me English, takes on the role of Myung Woo, a mild mannered teacher who gets mistaken for a purse snatcher while chasing the real culprit down! To Myung Woo’s surprise, he finds himself arrested by Gyeong Jin, a gung-ho, tough-as-nails young cop played by none other than Jeon Ji Hyun, star of My Sassy Girl and Il Mare.
Although this hilarious case of mistaken identity is eventually sorted out, Myung Woo has to return to the police station only a few days later in order to carry out some “community service” by accompanying a police officer while he walks his day-to-day beat. However, Myung Woo is shocked to learn that he’s going to be following “Dirty Harriet” herself, Gyeong Jin! After spending the entire night handcuffed to his sexy, but dangerous partner as she chases down no-good criminals, Myung Woo begins to discover that he’s falling for the brassy, and yet, sassy law enforcement agent! But as a relationship begins to develop between the two, will Gyeong Jin’s over-enthusiastic police tactics get in the way of her love for Myung Woo? Is “Happily Ever After” even a possibility for these two? The answers to these questions and more are waiting to be discovered in Windstruck, a film which many fans regard as an unofficial companion piece to My Sassy Girl!

- This was a good companion movie from the My Sassy Girl. This keeps me smiling all the time. Even if you just mention the title of the movie, I will smile. This movie depicts a great funny, random story about two lovers. The guy is a teacher and the girl is a tough policewoman. At first I though it will be just random funny blahs. But as the movie rolls… it made me emotional. This movie is just LOVE… (again~)

Megumi Noda, or “Nodame,” is a piano student at Momogaoka College of Music. Although she is an extremely talented pianist who can play by ear, she can’t read music. She also hates to take a bath or clean her room. For her daily meals, she usually grabs something out of her friend’s lunchbox.
Nodame soon falls in love with Momogaoka’s top student, Shinichi Chiaki. Born into a musical family, he plays the piano and violin brilliantly. Although his major is piano, he has secret ambitions to become a conductor.
Based on the big hit comic book by Tomoko Ninomiya, this is the romantic comedy of two completely different personalities.

- I completely regret not watching this before. But then again I am happy I was able to watch this at last. A very funny, random, music centered, wonderful drama based from a comic book. This is just so darn adorable I cant even express my self in words. LOL X3 This drama is pure love i tell you! PURE LOVE!

Seiran Gakuen is an exclusive private boys’ high school. It’s the start of the summer break and Yoshikuni has decided to spend this year’s summer at the school’s Shoraikan dormitory, as have Mitsuhiro, Kanji and Iwatsuki. All four boys have their own reasons for not going home.

Yoshikuni’s girlfriend is Hiroko, but with his own reasons, he tells her he doesn’t want to see her for a while. Hiroko isn’t satisfied with this but Yoshikuni keeps on avoiding her.

On their first day, Yoshikuni and Mitsuhiro set out to buy food for dinner. They bumped into Osamu, a day student. Hiroko and her friend Aki turns up. Aki ask Yoshikuni why he dumped Hiroko for no apparent reason. Hiroko can’t take it any more and bursts into tears. Takagi who lives in the dormitory next door sees this. Some days later, Mitsuhiro’s step-mother Keiko visits the Shoraikan dormitory. He is cold-hearted towards her, like a different person.

- A very random mystery drama. I watched this because I saw a JR Toma in the casts list. The drama was being random all along. But still then drama has this concept that evolves among the characters. But I still dont understand why is it called Neverland *smirks*

Two bank robbers (Inohara and Miyake) succeed with their robbery, but leave the bank to find their getaway car being towed. Since the car contains their clothes and wallets, they’re stuck wearing tight Santa suits carrying a bag of loot.

Their lengthy escape is hampered by two cops (Sakamoto and Nagano) who are after the loot, as well as a persistent homeless guitar-player (Okada), who spends most of his time frozen, and a truck-driving priest (Morita), who thinks the frozen hippie is a message from God. Plus an assorted cast of zombies, one aluminium bat-wielding nutter, and the usual collection of quirky vignettes. Expect anything from this Sabu film!

- As expected from the Johnny’s senpais… this movie ROCKS. The cracky flavor, the idiotic acting and such is pure love. For every V6 fan there is this movie is a must watch. This shows every member’s hidden individual. This movie is just PURE LOVE ♥

8-year old Yotaro gains a 3-year old step-sister, Kaoru, when his mother marries a jazz musician who plays in a club in Naha, Okinawa where they live. Before long Kaoru’s father deserts them, and not long afterward Yota’s mother becomes terminally ill. Her dying wish is for him to watch out for Kaoru at his grandmother’s place on a small island off the coast of Okinawa. He fulfills her wish and becomes very protective of his younger sister who calls him “nee-nee.”

Thirteen years later Kaoru returns to Naha and comes to live with him as she starts high school. Yota works hard making deliveries of vegetables from an open-air market by day, and in a restaurant (he is a licensed chef) by night to save money to fulfill his dream of having his own restaurant. He also assumes the role of pushing for Kaoru’s entrance to a university.

This allows less time for his beautiful girlfriend Keiko, the daughter of a doctor and a medical student at Ryukyu University. It seems that Yota’s dreams start to come together when Mr. Kameoka sells him a place for a restaurant. Yota works hard constructing the place, but just as he is to open, the real owner appears.

- A sad mid romance movie that stars again Nagasawa Masami. This movie is about the love of a brother for his younger foster sister. This also includes the happenings in the life of siblings such as the ups and downs of reality. This can be considered as romance, but I will really consider this as a family movie.
